Rodney: I started my career in digital media designing educational software for children. From there, I overlapped into a more corporate sector of the print industry to help the adults a bit. Now, combining techniques acquired in both fields, and skills built from small web projects along the way, I’ve moved into web design with Black Doily.
That's my career in a nutshell, but what's left? Not much… but I'll try:
I’m generally a disciplined designer during the day and a cartoonist at night. I enjoy craft beer, reading, music and films that require excessive patience and little or no special effects …unless they are animated of course.
In life and in work, I want to realize ideas and design tools to help others make the world a little more tolerable.

Quin: My design career started in print design and is coupled with my passion for creativity. This allowed me to become familiar with branding, design concepts, and typography.
Through constant education I’ve taken my career in a related, but challenging new direction: In early 2009 I received a Certificate in Web Design at the University of Washington.
This introduced me to best practices in markup languages and UI design that comply with the latest web design standards using the best techniques and authoring tools.
To keep the creativity flowing I paint abstract acrylics and create fun fabric designs.
